Is This A Wake-up Call For Us?

March 11, 2011 sometime in the afternoon, when the country Japan experienced earthquake with a magnitude of 8.9. They also experienced having tsunami after the earthquake. It was all over the news. Yesterday, at that time, I was in the classroom, listening to my reviewer. I am not aware that there's something going on on their country. Then later that afternoon, around 16:20, my clinical instructor announced that we should go home and postponed the class for they have heard in the news that our country will be also experiencing high waves and there is also the possibility that we may also experienced tsunami. I wondered why about what our clinical instructor told us. At first, I don't want to believe it. Then after I got home, I confirmed in the television about what happened and then later found out about Japan. I was very shocked. I saw how the tsunami cause flood and watched on the internet how strong the earthquake was. I sympathize them. Later that night, I pray for them, for their country. I wish they don't lose hope and hoping that the rescuers found the bodies missing and the health team members take good care for those who are injured.

Oohhh.. Exams Are Coming!

Hello!
Today, I would like to share to you a dialogue I read earlier from a manga that says,
"The test... After the test is over, my world will quickly change, and I will have to grow up and become an adult".
Hmm how should I put this...... This coming Monday, I will have to take my final examination for this semester. And this examination I'm going to take is the very final before I graduate. I was struck by that dialogue because its like the same as my experience. After I take my final examination this coming Monday, it's like, that will be the end of my journey as a 4th year college student *~*, and also it will be the beginning of another journey towards an adult life. Honestly, I'm anxious about how things will turn out after I graduate and what will happen after I pass my board exam this coming july *~*.. (oohh hopefully I will pass it) hehe.. Hmm.. when will I grow up actually? haha.. (I'm kind of a childish person :D)..

What a Realization!

Recently, I have been studying or rather reading articles or notes about fruits and what benefits we can get from it. I know that fruits are highly nutritious and good for the body but what specifically it can do to us? I'm just curious you know. Hehe.. So here are some of nutritious fruits that I have read in different sites...

FUJI APPLE
Apple is one of the common fruit that I usually see in the markets or fruit stands in malls. And also, one of my mother's product when selling fruit is the Fuji apple. Then, I become curious. So what are the health benefits we can gain from it?

I realize that Fuji apples has the highest amount of flavonoids (quercitin) among all of the apples. Flavonoids, according to the medical dictionary, is a common plant pigment compounds that act as antioxidants; enhance the effects of vitamin C which is good for our immune system; and strengthen connective tissue around capillaries. Because of this flavonoids, it also minimizes the diseases of heart attack.

Another thing is, the skin of the apple can also help us to control cholesterol levels because it contains 10% of person's daily needs and are rich in fiber. It also helps us to have good growth of hair and good skin especially for the wound healing process. The skin contains phenols (a type of oxidant) which helps our skin protects from ultraviolet rays.. (",)

GUYABANO
Another fruit that my mother sells is the fruit of guyabano or the soursop. This guyabano comes from the miraculous tree of Gaviola tree. I have found out that this fruit is an effective treatment for cancers. According on what I have read, this is a natural cancer killer and most effective than undergoing a chemotherapy. Chemotherapy can cause a side effects like nausea, hair loss, and harming our healthy cells. Unlike this natural cancer killer, it does not harm healthy cells and cost less. (",)

Its leaves also used as a herbal medicine. Leaves can be applied to skin for a fast wound healing and even result to less scars. It also alleviates rheumatism. Boiling of water with leaves of guyabano has many benefits. It can reduce fever by drinking it, and a remedy for urethritis, hematuria, and liver ailments.

~~~Wow.. God is really good! Do you agree? (Yep, I know you are) ^^..
There are lots of fruits I want to know the health benefits but for now, these two (2) fruits are the only ones I have read. I'll go and check out for some more..
So Happy!
After having a whole day going out with him, it is such an overwhelming feeling. For the second time, I got to see his face. I love those eyes, almost like it was always smiling back at you..ha ha..
Really. This is the second time that I met him personally. I really enjoyed the moment. We ate, watched cinema, laughed in every stories, walk all over two malls ha ha..
Hm for me, the most unforgettable moment and unexpected was that he even bought me a gift. I really did not expected that he will give me a gift that day. He said that I should not worry and it will be alright because it is Christmas after all. At first, I don't want to receive it because it was way too expensive and I feel, I'm not worthy to receive it. Another was that, I didn't got him any present. But he insisted. I think for others, it is just an ordinary Christmas gift but for me, it is very special and of course, it comes from him. I almost cried..*sniff*
Hmm.. The most 'cheesy' line (ha ha) was what he said "No problem. What's important is that you enjoyed and that I was able to make you smile." :D But I do understand that it was only a friendly date. I don't want him to know that I have feelings for him. If ever there comes a time, I'm not ready yet for a relationship. Hmm..  I was afraid for maybe our friendship will end if he knows my feelings for him. For now, I want to treasure our friendship.
Christmas Break?!.. o_0.. At Last!
Weee.. My long awaited moment! At last, I really can feel the Christmas break.. All of my make-up duties for this month has finally accomplished today. I am also glad that while I was on my duty today at the operating room, I was able to finish my cases of major operation.. Yes!..^^ All that is left are the cases of actual and assist  ..
Hmm putting that aside, I think that my Christmas break will be kind of busy too. Let's see.. hmm.. Tomorrow, Dec. 24 up to Dec. 25, I will be going to the market place to help my mother in selling fruits. These two (2) days is a good chance to increase profit. I am sure there will be a lot of customers.. ^^ Then on 26, I will be at my best friend's house to celebrate her parents' anniversary.. Next is 27, I will be at my godfather's place to celebrate our annual reunion. I think this annual reunion will be a bit special because this will be the 25th year. I bet there will be a lot of food..
                                                        Haha.. *grin*
And, the last in my schedule will be, going out with one of my dearest friends or rather I should say, with whom I like.. haha.. :D *excited*..  Well, WE are FRIENDS, still be friends, and will be forever friends??? *awwwwwwww* *sniff*
And, oh by the way, to those readers out there who reads this blog of mine :D...
HAPPY HOLIDAYS EVERYONE!!!
Retreat!!! (Before and After)
Welcome back to my home!..
Hmm.. Is this the start of a new me? (^^,).. A new life perhaps or a new perception after having a solemn reflect of self?
Before that, I would like to share my experiences in this special day. This event starts on Dec 6, 2010 (Monday) somewhere in Tagaytay and ends today, Dec 8,2010. Oh I really love the place! The view where in I can see the Taal Volcano, the different colors and types of flowers and trees on the garden of the villa and most specially, the cool, fresh air .  It is somewhat refreshing ^^..
After we arrived on the villa, I am excited on what will happen next. Hm first, our facilitator orient us on the following rules and regulation, so on and so forth. And after that, we were served by a delicious snack and then proceed to the session. The sessions made by the facilitator made me realize many things. And he also gave us a time to reflect on every session he made. To make the long story short, I really enjoy my retreat..^^ I learned many new things and it opened my heart and mind. But as said by our facilitator, the result and success of that 3 days retreat may be after 10 years or 20 years in time. I hope and pray that the result will have a great outcome.^^
In this retreat, I would also like to acknowledge my friends who gave me a great letter that I can not really forget. They gave me inspiration and made me realize that I am really blessed and important to them.
Guys, you know who you are, a BIG THANK YOU to all of you! LOVE YOU guys!!
