FUJI APPLE
Apple is one of the common fruit that I usually see in the markets or fruit stands in malls. And also, one of my mother's product when selling fruit is the Fuji apple. Then, I become curious. So what are the health benefits we can gain from it?
I realize that Fuji apples has the highest amount of flavonoids (quercitin) among all of the apples. Flavonoids, according to the medical dictionary, is a common plant pigment compounds that act as antioxidants; enhance the effects of vitamin C which is good for our immune system; and strengthen connective tissue around capillaries. Because of this flavonoids, it also minimizes the diseases of heart attack.
Another thing is, the skin of the apple can also help us to control cholesterol levels because it contains 10% of person's daily needs and are rich in fiber. It also helps us to have good growth of hair and good skin especially for the wound healing process. The skin contains phenols (a type of oxidant) which helps our skin protects from ultraviolet rays.. (",)
GUYABANO
Another fruit that my mother sells is the fruit of guyabano or the soursop. This guyabano comes from the miraculous tree of Gaviola tree. I have found out that this fruit is an effective treatment for cancers. According on what I have read, this is a natural cancer killer and most effective than undergoing a chemotherapy. Chemotherapy can cause a side effects like nausea, hair loss, and harming our healthy cells. Unlike this natural cancer killer, it does not harm healthy cells and cost less. (",)
Its leaves also used as a herbal medicine. Leaves can be applied to skin for a fast wound healing and even result to less scars. It also alleviates rheumatism. Boiling of water with leaves of guyabano has many benefits. It can reduce fever by drinking it, and a remedy for urethritis, hematuria, and liver ailments.
~~~Wow.. God is really good! Do you agree? (Yep, I know you are) ^^..
There are lots of fruits I want to know the health benefits but for now, these two (2) fruits are the only ones I have read. I'll go and check out for some more.. ☻
